Chief Business Officer

HandyTrain is a Technology startup based in Goa backed by marquee investors with - 100% Y-o-Y growth. It is looking to strengthen its leadership team by hiring a Chief Business Officer. This person will be based out of Goa and will report to the Venture Head. We are looking for someone with ample Sales and Marketing experience and willing to work in a technology startup.

Role and responsibilities :

1. Build and lead the sales and marketing team

2. Devise sales and marketing strategies

3. Drive growth through aggressive customer acquisition

4. Increase brand presence and visibility on both online and offline forums

5. Build and nurture alliances and partnerships

6. Travel extensively for BD (75% of the time)

Experience and Qualifications :

1. At least 15 years of overall experience, of which at least 5 years must be in a leadership role

2. Must have handled P&L responsibilities in a leadership capacity

3. Must have done B2B sales with proven growth

4. Must have marketing experience, especially on the digital front and quite well versed with BTL branding

5. Must have developed B2B alliances and partnerships

6. Must have a successful track record of taking products/services to market

7. Strong CXO connects

8. MBA from a premier B-School

Desirable :

1. Entrepreneurial experience

2. B2B SaaS Product/Digital Economy Startup experience

3. Experience in launching the product in developed economies and mature markets
