Halodoc - Engineering Manager - Web

Halodoc Bangalore team is a critical product development and innovation hub for the company, with many of the company's key products and technology initiatives created and developed by the Bangalore team.

As an Engineering Manager you would be responsible to :

1. Build, develop and guide high-performing talent for this vertical. Define a long term talent strategy cutting across technology.

2. Provide supervision, mentoring and development opportunities for engineers who report into you.

3. Prior experience with scalable Architecture managing team of minimum 5 engineers and coaching, mentoring while maintaining a role with code development

4. Help define Technical Roadmap and own the entire product delivery end to end.

5. Work very closely with various business stakeholders to drive the execution of multiple business plans and technologies .

6. Improve, optimize and identify opportunities for efficient software development processes.

7. Proficiency in Web front end framework and strong knowledge of software development processes and design methodologies.

8. App development experience, as well as experience building out the relevant API/micro service architecture.

9. Promote and support company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.

Qualifications:

1. An Engineering Degree - B.E/B.Tech/MS/ in any stream - Computer Science preferred.

2. 7 or 7+ years of relevant experience with the following skills

3. Hands-on in HTML, CSS, Javascript and Angular or React development track record

4. A good understanding of CS Fundamentals, Data Structures, Algorithms and Problem Solving

5. Understand the product and project management space with Agile methodologies.

6. Experience across the product development SDLC
