Responsibilities.

- Develop and manage the accounting processes for the organisation in compliance with INDAS and group policies for the existing and future operations of the organisation leading to accurate reporting of the financial results of the organisation.

- Establish standardized, efficient, and accurate monthly closing processes that meet group timelines, conduct ledger scrutiny, review reconciliations to ensure reliable and timely reporting.

- Revisit the internal controls, identify improvement areas to strengthen the risk management environment of the organisation.

- Ensure accurate and timely payment to employees and vendors.

- Identify and initiate process improvements in the Accounts Payable (AP) function to enhance the customer experience and efficiency of operations.

- Develop a sustainable and efficient Accounts Receivable (AR) process which is scalable to evolving diverse growth plans of the organisation.

- Manage the credit risk in collaboration with the business heads and ensure efficient cash collection cycle.

- Improve the inventory and assets management processes which adheres to the internal controls and valuations methods, oversee physical verification and reconciliations to ensure robust asset management.

- Initiate and manage statutory, internal audits and peer reviews for the company, implement the audit recommendations leading to improved quality, compliance and risk management.

- Ensure compliance to taxation GST, Income Tax, Customs, FEMA, other statutes and internal control policies of the company in the accounting operations.

- Monitor, forecast and managing the organization's cash flow, minimise the forex risk thru' hedging and manage banking relationship for the organisation.

- Identify, implement and manage automation opportunities within the accounting operations.

- Drive the ERP implementation and ensure the project timelines and deliverables are successfully met.

- Effectively collaborate with the business heads, opco leadership, functional heads and corporate finance teams to be an effective partner in fulfilling the business needs.

- Lead, motivate, coach, and develop a collaborative, and energised team, committed to the common goals of the function and organisation.

- Establish goals, KPIs, and measure performance and continuously improve the standard of performance.

- Be an ambassador of the cultural attributes of the organisation and ensure the team imbibe the cultural attributes and values.

Qualifications:

- CA / ICWAI Final qualified.

- Good consistent academic record.

Experience:

- Overall accounting experience of 8-10 years.

- Corporate accounting experience, preferably in MNCs > 5 years.

- Experience in GST, Income tax, Customs > 4 years.

- Experience in trading/ manufacturing organisation > 3 years.

- Experience in Microsoft tools and Office applications.
