Halftick - Senior Analyst - Commodity Research - IIT/NIT/BITS

The candidate will be required to track Commodity Markets for various products like Brent Crude, Gold, Silver, Grains, Oilseeds, Pulses, Cotton, etc. Candidate should have good knowledge of crop agronomy, supply demand concepts, crop estimation and ability to interact with market Analysts and understand the fundamental factors that are influencing the prices of the commodities. Candidate will be required to work on extensive reports and analysis.

Areas of Responsibilities

- Write Reports/notes on Commodity Markets (Energy, Agricultural, Metals etc)

- Study weekly commodity reports (WASDE) & generate inputs

- Developing and maintaining Financial models

- Fundamental & Technical Analysis of commodity products

- Analysing current market trends

- Communicate with the Market Analysts on regular basis

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel and Powerpoint)

- Knowledge of databases such as Bloomberg and Thomson Reuters will be an added advantage

Academic Qualification

- Undergraduate degree from a top-tier school (IITs/NITs/BITS) preferably in a quantitative discipline such as Math, Science, Engineering, Computer Science

- MBA/MS in Finance (will be preferred)

- CFA/FRM will be an added advantage
