We are currently looking for an experienced, self-driven, and curious Data Scientist to join our passionate and innovative team. As part of a cross-disciplinary team, you will work your magic on large multifaceted and unstructured datasets to tackle a range of challenging problems using statistical and machine learning algorithms. Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing, the freedom to provide meaningful insights and explain data models to our clients is appetizing.

At HackerEarth, we also boast a strong community of Machine Learning enthusiast who has been nurtured through different initiatives. We currently have an active base of 1Lakh+ users from across the globe who visit our platform for Machine learning related content.

Here are a few initiatives we run -

1) Monthly Machine Learning / Deep Learning Global challenge

2) HackerEarth practice section describing ML fundamentals and problems to solve

3) HackerEarth Blog hosting much interesting content on ML/AI

4) Company sponsored ML/Deep learning challenges

To be successful in this role you will have :

1. Knowledge of programming language Python is a must. Knowledge of R is an added bonus.

2. In-depth knowledge of statistics and machine learning algorithms.

3. Hands on experience in solving business problems.

4. Exposure to building deep learning models

5. At least 2 years of experience as a Data Scientist

- Solve challenging business problems using statistical & machine learning algorithms

- Translate business problems to be tackled using data science/machine learning.

- Manage the entire data cleaning, manipulation, modeling pipeline for client projects.

- Using appropriate methods (data visualization, summary statistics etc.) to communicate and explain the data models to clients.

- Using open data sets, create well-defined machine learning and deep learning problems.

- Work with engineering, operations team to drive availability of relevant data, tools and cloud infrastructure.
