GVFL - Vice President/Associate Vice President/Senior Associate/Associate - Investment - IIM/ISB/IIT/NIT/FMS

We are looking for following professionals

Vice President/Associate Vice President (Investment)

Key Responsibilities: You will lead or oversee all aspects of the investment process including origination, deal screening, financial modelling, due diligence and working with the portfolio and eventual divestment from the investment.

- Originate and identify potential investment opportunities

- Examine and assess, financial statements and various other indicators to determine suitable investment strategies

- Gather data and information on potential investment opportunities, conduct research and business analysis, develop financial models, valuation analysis. Prepare and present investment recommendations to Investment Committee.

- Post investment approval, lead and coordinate due diligence and lead negotiation for deal documentation and deal closing.

- Post investment, work with investee team of portfolio companies to track business performance and support the entrepreneur in business growth.

- Strategize and manage divestment of GVFL's investment on a timely basis.

Other Responsibilities:

- Lead a team of Associates/ Senior Associates in investment team

- Support Investor Relations

- Actively participate in startup ecosystem and network with industry professionals

Skills/Qualifications Requirements:

- Candidate is expected to have around 10+ years of total experience in financial services with adequate exposure to Venture Capital / Private Equity investment, preferably in early stage investments

- Strong analytical skills with proven success in a role that provides due diligence, research and interpretation of market environment, opportunities and investment strategies.

- Outstanding verbal and written communications skills

- Strong organization, leadership, decision making and problem solving skills with high levels of ethics and integrity

MBA Finance plus BE/BTech from a top tier educational institution.

Job Location: Company HQ at Ahmedabad

Remuneration: Fixed salary of upto 30 lakhs plus variable depending on individual & company performance as decided by the Board.

Associate / Senior Associate (Investments)

Qualification & Skill requirements: The incumbent should be MBA with specialization in Finance from reputed Management institute, preferably with BE/ B.Tech background/ CA

He/She should have strong analytical capabilities, quantitative skills, financial modelling skills and effective communication and interpersonal skills

Experience: 2-5 years experience in Venture Capital/Private Equity/Commercial Banking, preferably having experience in early stage companies.

Job Responsibilities: The incumbent would be involved in the entire life cycle of the investment process including deal origination, deal evaluation, business & financial analysis, financial modelling, due diligence, market research and preparation of investment memo. Post investment, work closely with portfolio companies to track business performance and prepare monitoring reports and working on exit transactions. He/she would actively participate in the Startup eco system.

Job Location: HQ Ahmedabad

Remuneration: Upto 10 lakhs plus variable depending on individual and company performance as decided by the Board.
