GVFL LTD. - Vice President / Associate Vice President (Investments)

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and oversee all aspects of the investment process including origination, deal screening, financial modelling, due diligence and working with the portfolio and eventual divestment from the investment.

- Originate and identify potential investment opportunities

- Examine and assess, financial statements and various other indicators to determine suitable investment strategies

- Gather data and information on potential investment opportunities, conduct research and business analysis, develop financial models, valuation analysis. Prepare and present investment recommendations to Investment Committee.

- Post investment approval, lead and coordinate due diligence and lead negotiation for deal documentation and deal closing.

- Post investment, work with investee team of portfolio companies to track business performance and support the entrepreneur in business growth.

- Strategize and manage divestment of GVFL's investment on a timely basis.

Other Responsibilities:

- Lead a team of Associates / Senior Associates (Investment)

- Support Investor Relations

- Actively participate in startup ecosystem and network with industry professionals

Qualification & Skill requirements :

- Strong analytical skills with proven success in a role that provides due diligence, research and interpretation of market environment, opportunities and investment strategies.

- Outstanding verbal and written communications skills

- Strong organization, leadership, decision making and problem solving skills with high levels of ethics and integrity

- MBA Finance plus B.E. / B.Tech from a top tier educational institution.

Experience :

- Candidate with 8 years or above of total experience in financial services with adequate exposure to Venture Capital / Private Equity investment, preferably in early stage investments can apply

Remuneration :

Remuneration will be commensurate with qualification and experience of the candidate.
