This role is for individuals with an entrepreneurial spirit, and a commitment to excellence. As compared to other similar firms and merchant banks, Guardian has lower targets and higher bonusing. We would like individuals who are genuinely interested in being client-centric as opposed to pushing a sales pitch.
Base salary range: 12 - 20 L / year depending on experience and qualifications
Responsibilities:
Pillar 1, Client Acquisition :
- Develop and implement sales strategies to grow the client base and increase revenue
- Ensure all sales targets are met
Pillar 2, Business Development and Sales:
- Close on the leads generated by the 'lead generation' team
- Strategize with the CEO and the board of directors on business development avenues
- Generate business through B2B sales of Guardian's products and services
- Develop and maintain strong relationships between Guardian's B2B partners, such as Chartered Accountancy Firms, Distribution Houses, AIFs, Investment Banks, etc.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of industry sales experience working in a premium wealth management firm, merchant bank (in wealth), an AIF, or a PMS or private banking setup in Hyderabad.
- Candidates with the right certifications- Investment Advisor A and B, Mutual Funds Distributor, Certified Financial Planner, etc - preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with clients
- Proven track record of success in sales and business development
- Strong knowledge of investment products and financial markets
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field required
