The community is now heading towards expanding its community activities and transforming itself to an Acceleration platform for early SaaS startups.

We are hiring an Entrepreneur in Residence to establish and lead an Investment Banking (IB) practice focused on helping early startup SaaS startups raise capital.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Set up an IB practice in house and develop an operating plan around it.

- Setup strong tools, processes and frameworks around the practice that aims to foster early stage startups in their journey of raising funds

- Build an active network of pre-seed investment ecosystems including angel investors, angel platforms, pre-seed investors etc.

- Work with founders closely to help them develop their pitch documents, MIS, projections and other placement documents.

- Help founders with preparing memos, perform market sizing, develop competitor analysis, perform valuation excercise, and prepare templated materials for founders to get started with fundraising.

- Support and hand hold founders during the fund raising process and enable conversations with investors.

- Hiring and training an investment banking team for the Investment Banking practice as we scale operations.

Qualifications:

- 3-10+ years experience in Investment Banking, Equity Research or Venture Capital space.

- Demonstrated ability to work alongside founders, investors, and an ability to build strong relationships with the ecosystem.

- Previous experiences include having dealt with leadership teams and founders is preferred

- Having worked in investment enrionments, as an investment banker, equity research, or in venture capital or in a startup working on investor relations function.

- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for the startup ecosystem

- Exceptional communication skills

- Strong emotional intelligence and ability to build relationships across stakeholders

- Comfortable working in ambiguity and fast-paced environments

- This is a role for someone who wants to create lasting impact, not just fill positions. As the name suggests you are building this from the ground up by closely working with the founding team.

Compensation: The role will have a decent fixed salary but also strong profit sharing from the Investment Banking platform's's profits.
