Job Description :

- B2B, B2C sales professional who will sell our travel packages to corporate and HNI clients - ticketing, visas, MICE, FOREX, FIT customized packages and fixed tour packages.

- Participate actively in events across the city and generate leads.

- Infiltrate local community circles, generate business and leads and sell he neighborhood travel agent concept.

- Cold call prospective clients, schedule a meeting and pitch for sales face to face.

- Work closely with marketing team and design campaigns that are both attractive and generate maximum number of leads.

- Identify and add new channel partners.

- Promote the GTC brand across the city and be the face of the company. Organize displays of promotional material.

- Analyze problem areas, challenges and systematically develop tactical strategic plans of action and report them on periodic basis.

- Develop new source of business from travel agents for groups and independent travelers.

- Assist in handling client grievances and complaints.

Requirements :

- Must have at least 3 - 7 years experience in the Travel industry with a proven sales & operations record and an existing client base.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet targets.

- Must have knowledge/ experience in selling FIT (Free individual traveler) packages.

- Strong exposure to marketing, designing campaigns and generating new leads from various businesses, institutions, clubs, malls, community fairs etc.

- Excellent communication skills (both written verbal) and presentation skills .

- Strong networking skills and ability to develop and build rapport.

- Overseas travel exposure would be an added advantage.

- Well groomed individual, who is a people IATA/ Aviation/ Travel Diploma would be a plus.

- Excellent customer focus and strong analytical and communication skills

- English language skills to business standard

- Adaptable, emotionally resilient and professional approach suitable for a fast-paced, ever-changing environment

Personal Attributes :

- 10-15 years experience of travel sales

- Strong convincing skills.

- Structured, organised and disciplined approach to work.

- Ability to work in pressure, flexible in terms of timings, can build strong relationship with customer.
