This role is consistent with Tech’s goal to retain design roles under GSK to build capacity to drive End-User-Services (EUS) objectives and support mergers, acquisitions and divestitures.


This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following.


Responsibilities :


- The role is encouraged to work with global GSK stakeholders to assess the business requirements, Tech strategy, and agreed solutions catalogue to build an integrated high-level design for VoIP.


- The target design may be for on-prem or cloud solutions. This includes evaluating requirements for physical and softphones, gateways and supporting systems. The consultant will work with GSK’s managed service provider (MSP) to create a statement of work and develop the costs for the project.


- Accountable for the alignment of solutions and technical standards to business project requests


- Provides consulting and high level & detailed project cost estimates for Business as Usual (BAU) & mergers, acquisition and divestiture (MA&D) activities.


- Oversee the provisioning of solutions in support of global collaborative service growth


- Provide technical consultation as needed throughout a project.


- Ensures implementations are standard, operationally scalable and align to service strategy & direction


- Ensures project processes are standard, scalable, transparent, relevant, communicated and documented


- Coordinate with Product Owner and Principal Engineer to develop capabilities and global innovation plans


- Supports Product Owner in production & implementation of service improvements and cost management plans


- The consultant is also responsible for Identifying gaps in the solutions catalogue and technical portfolio. They partner with teams from Core Tech to investigate and deliver new unified communications services.


- This is a Technology role that requires a solid base in computing or engineering as the role will be required to do hands on technical work. The role, as an individual contributor, needs a broad set of communications, technical, and consulting skills, as well as subject matter knowledge in order to be successful.


The role takes knowledge of the current GSK standards, industry best practice and telephony regulatory environment to design solutions. Most preferably the role requires experience in telephony and networks to avoid designing systems that will not work within GSK or are not scalable or efficient.


We are looking for a Service Analyst – Solutions Design and if you have these skills, we would like to speak to you.


- 10 years of experience with demonstrable technical background related to project delivery.


- Technically experienced IT professional with specialization in Computer Science or Engineering.


- Proven ability to manage, influence and negotiate with partners (Both internal and Vendors)


- Broad experience of technical problem solving and consulting


- Proven ability to analyse data to identify trends for the purposes of both cost reduction and service improvement


- Technical experience in Voice Telecommunications.


- This role is responsible for collecting requirements and designing systems that fulfil the requirements.


- This role must have good interpersonal skills capable of building relationships across different team in the organisation.
