- Analyzes market potential, forecasts demand, & develops annual sales plans as well as prepares clearly defined channel and geography wise marketing, distribution, & product strategy as per approved annual budgets.
- Responsible for driving company top-line and bottom-line to achieve annual targets.
- Improving sales Optimization of trade discounts, damaged stock returns, BTL expenditure and selling infrastructure costs.
- Responsible for ensuring adequate customer investment in the business to ensure optimization of organization working capital.
- Create effective sales & marketing strategy & develop new processes to oversee business operations for the portfolio of brands with full P&L accountability.
- Frames strategic business directions & marketing plans for effective merchandising & promotion to enhance brand image & strengthen brand visibility.
- Monitors local competitor activities and counter them & explores scope to expand business to attain market leadership.
- Responsible for setting up the sales team & sales & distribution infrastructure all channels and geographies. Ensures effective hiring policy, orientation, induction training & development and improve retention of sales staff.
- Displays dynamic leadership style to motivate & empower teams & retains employees through a performance-based reward system.
- Steers weekly internal knowledge transfer sessions among other departments & ensure capacity building.
- Arranges progress review meetings; prepares & submits MIS & fact findings report to the top management team.
- Conducts presentations to highlight performance on market metrics & financial ratios to the top management.
