- Growth Source is a recently established new age financial institution registered with RBI as a Non-Deposit taking NBFC - strongly backed by established investors. We aim to operate in the SME lending space to fuel India's economic growth with aim to build a financial services platform with USD 2bn+ in AUM over 5 years. The founders and partners have been industry leaders in their practice and are very well renowned globally in Financial Services space. Based out of BKC (Mumbai), Growth Source has built a strong core team and is preparing for launch across India.

Job Title Product Manager, SME (Level - AVP/ VP)

Reports to Business & Product Head - SME

Product Stack (SME) LAP, SME, BL, Education & Healthcare Finance, Supply Chain, FI Funding, Professional Loans

Job Purpose

- Support the development, design and delivery of Growth Source Strategy (across People, Process, Product & Customer Service) and effectively communicate to employees, customers and business partners

- Work on special initiatives & projects bringing together teams and capabilities and closely work with key stakeholders within the wider Digital, IT, Project, Sales & Marketing, Policy & Risk, Operations, Compliance teams

- Responsible for lifecycle performance of core and attached (fee-income) products in MSME: Conception, Definition,

Distribution & Services, Profitability and Evolution

- Ensure product offerings are differentiated, competitive, compelling and customer-centric

- Monitoring of policy and underwriting strategy for effective product delivery

- Executing/ implementing outputs/ recommendations from analytics framework identifying early warning signals, credit& risk process changes, customer profile or demographic or geographic risk factors, portfolio risk forecasting

- Ensure adequate fee income or cross selling is done with existing portfolio to reduce COA and increase ROE on products

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Initiatives

- Implement focussed origination & go-to-market strategy through process development approach

- Drive & manage strategic initiatives & campaigns in the zones and regions

- Assist in project management, digital & IT delivery across product lifecycle

- Gather primary market data, competition data, customer feedbacks and recommend product/ process suggestions to keep products in line & ahead of market

- Imbibe 360 degree approach on business metrics such as portfolio performance, policy rationale, pricing, process management, benchmarking of competition & market research/ feedback

- Effective execution strategy for cross-sell, upsell opportunity, fee-income, wealth products, partner products, co-lending etc.

Sales & Channel Performance

- Managing & tracking loan book, revenue targets, yield targets & other business performance metrics for the MSME products

- Ensure each location meeting the budgeted number for the product & attached fee-income at targeted performance metrics

- Managing the existing sourcing channels and finding new channel designs & avenues for channel growth

- Identify & complete training, development & coaching needs of business team

New Product Development & Product Management

- Introduce creativity and innovation in current offering and expand product suite in adherence to organization's proposition, policies and norms to always stand differentiated from competition

- Product development, process setting and managing growth curve for new product introductions in line with agreed strategy

Portfolio Quality & Risk Management

- Maintain portfolio quality standard by ensuring quality leads in the funnel & ensuring customer engagement post booking

- Highlight early warning signals by continuous discussion with frontline on identified cases

- Monthly regionwise portfolio analysis to ascertain performance standards and ensure adherence to set benchmarks

- Display strong analytical skills to identify problems and find solutions for the same in limited time frame

Market Analysis

- Continuous benchmarking against competition, mystery shopping and customer surveys to evaluate product performance to

ensure that product offerings are differentiated, competitive, compelling and customer-centric

- Enhance skill set, market awareness and keep abreast of all latest developments impacting the portfolio and business goals

Knowledge/ Skill/ Experience

- Post Graduate/ MBA from premier institute (Tier-1 preferred) with 3-7 years of relevant working experience

- Knowledge & experience of multiple retail lending products preferably secured in MSME space for > 3 years

- Experience in product life cycle management and new product development for > 1.5 years

- Highly proficient in Excel/ Pivot Tables/ Modelling and Presentations

- Strong analytical skills in conducting sophisticated analysis primary & secondary data to solve business problems

- Flexibility in approach and thought process

- Strong geographic & market knowledge across Pan-India

- Strong Communication & Content writing skill
