Work Location : Chennai - DLF IT PARK, Porur  Job Summary:   The Recruiting specialist will be responsible for managing end to end recruitment activities for the India Technology team and primarily focus on identifying candidates from target organizations, job portals and other networking sites (Linkedin) with no vendor support. The role requires a passonate hands on sourcing expertise.  Responsibilities:  Network through industry contacts, association memberships, social media, job portals and employees to build a strong candidate pipeline for the hiring needs  Lead the creation of a recruiting and interviewing plan for each open position.  Work closely with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and share relevant profiles  Manage interview coordination and feedback follow ups to close positions quickly  Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.  Creating pool of qualified candidates in advance of need.  Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.  Manage offer process and take ownership till the candidate joins  Specialized in end to end recruitment which is inclusive of interaction with the hiring team to understand the job description, sourcing, scheduling, CTC negotiation and follow up till the candidate is on onboard.  Network Through Industry Contacts, Association Memberships, Social media, portals and Employees  Locate and document where to find ideal candidates.  Communicate with managers and employees regularly to establish rapport, gauge morale, and source new candidate leads.  Create contacts within industry.  Maintain regular contact with potential candidates.  Desired Skills and Experience  Effectively utilize a diverse sourcing strategy to identify high-caliber candidates including the use of internet job boards, Internet mining, career fairs, college recruiting, networking and more to attract & build a diverse candidate pool.  Managing full-cycle recruitment for entry to mid level positions including the sourcing, interviewing, and selecting of candidates to fill new and vacant positions.  Partner with other areas of Human Resources and client group, to calibrate interview assessments and offer strong hiring recommendations to enable filling of positions effectively and efficiently.  Maintaining active applicant tracking throughout the recruitment process, and administration of recruiting correspondence utilizing an applicant tracking system.  Work in collaboration with Hiring Managers in successfully closing the open positions.  Groupon (NASDAQ: GRPN) is a global leader of local commerce and the place you start when you want to buy just about anything, anytime, anywhere.
