Onboarding Specialist
Position Summary :
The On-boarding Specialist is responsible for all phases of the new hire onboarding as well as facilitating the new hire orientation program. The On-boarding Specialist will have ownership of enrolling the in-coming employee into new systems, communication and coordination of pre-employment processes. They will directly support the hiring team and partner with other human resources team members across locations to ensure timely and successful On-boarding and related data processing.
Job responsibilities (include but are not limited to) :
- Responsible for managing and monitoring new hire information database
- Responsible for initiating pre-joining formalities and candidate engagement
- Collaborates with support teams (IT, Admin, Finance) to set up relevant systems required for new hire onboarding
- Organize and manage end to end new hire orientation process which includes scheduling induction days, preparing induction material and assisting ambassadors with the same
- Reviews all completed background screening documents to ensure compliance with company policy and contractual requirements
- Exports new hire information from onboarding system and imports into HRIS system
- Collaborates with the HR team to identify gaps in processes and improve efficiencies and productivity
Requirements :
- Bachelor/ PGDBA degree or equivalent job experience in onboarding new employees
- Minimum 4 years of experience in HR with at-least 2 years in design and delivery of effective orientation programs
- Ability to effectively function in a fast paced environment with multiple strategic projects
- Contagious and positive work ethic with an ability to build strong relationships
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
