Job Title: AVP - Finance

Location: South Delhi

Reporting to: CFO - Groupon India

Key Responsibilities:

1. Be the 2nd-in-command for complete Finance Operations of Groupon India.

2. Work closely with the Country CFO and Regional CFO (based out of Australia) on various financial matters.

3. Oversee daily operations of the accounting department that reports local financials statement to US Parent Company.

4. Monitor and analyze monthly / quarterly operating results.

5. Assist in development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department.

Key Technical Requirements:

1. Chartered Accountant with 5 to 8 years of progressive work experience (post qualification).

2. Big 4 Auditing / Consulting experience preferred.

3. Thorough knowledge of Indian and US GAAP along with working knowledge of SOX.

4. MBA degree preferred, but not mandatory.

General Skills:

1. Excellent attention to detail, commitment to accuracy, and focus on results.

2. Self-motivator and entrepreneurial attitude to work with minimum supervision.

3. Should have managed a team in the past.

4. Strong interpersonal skills and leadership skills.

5. Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects and tasks.

6. Strong ability to work in a deadline-oriented environment with a high degree of accuracy.
