Group Treasurer

Fabulous Opening for Treasury Role at one of the International Location

Position: Group Treasurer - International Location

Experience: 10 to 15 years in Treasury Department with large corporates

Qualification: MBA (Finance) Business School Only, CFA / CA / CS

Industry Preference: Preferably from Commodity Trading Industry

Essential Job Functions: Key role requirements:

Primary responsibilities:

- Understand, monitor and manage all aspects of cash flow including working capital, debt and cash balances on a daily basis to ensure the Company has the cash and liquidity to meet its obligations. Track group exposure at commodity level.

- Forecast cash payments and anticipate challenges arising from limited cash flow.

- Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial reports on a regular basis.

- Evaluate, develop and implement cash management systems to optimize efficiencies.

- Advise management on the liquidity aspects of its short- and long-term budgeting.

- Maintain a system of policies and procedures that impose an adequate level of control over treasury activities.

- Excellent Due Diligence Skills.

- Assist corporate finance department in raising funds from banks, as well as debt and equity markets.

- Experience in Merger & Acquisition, Post Merger Integration (PMI)

- Excellent communication skills (oral and written) are essential

- Networking capabilities to maintain good working relationship with bankers / financial institutes

- Ability to work with team under pressure

- International exposure and knowledge of internal treasury would be preferred

- Excellent Leadership skills- must have led a team of 5 people

- Good interpersonal skills
