Role: Group Product Manager - Data Platform

About the Role:

As a Group Product Manager - Data Platform, you will be responsible for building Core Data Platform from scratch. This platform will be the backbone for our organization's data decision and operations. This platform will play a huge role in shaping Groww for our customers. This position will require close coordination with all key functions of Groww - Product Management, Analytics, Engineering, Business and Growth

Responsibilities

- Be outcome-oriented; everything we do needs metrics and you will be expected to define, report and improve these metrics

- Conduct user research, gather product ideas, seek feedback, collate requirements & own vision & road map of Groww Data platform which forms the platform for the whole of Groww Data organization

- Partner with many types of stakeholders, including engineers, analysts, and leaders from different teams and functions in designing scalable solutions. Stakeholders include Data Science, Machine Learning Infrastructure, Fraud & Risk, Businesses Intelligence, payments and all product groups

- Cross-functional collaboration with analytics, data science, engineering, product & business to ensure a seamless product development

- Continue to strive for innovation, be aware of developments that are happening in the data platform and advanced analytics space.

- Help us navigate the trade-offs between build vs. buy, and guide us to make informed solutions

- Define and communicate your product's vision, strategy, and goals;

Experience

- 7+ years of Product Management experience with building technology focused data products

- Experience working on data platform for a consumer product company

- Experience with technology, building and shipping products for large scale

Preferred Experience

- Understanding of scalable platforms, operations and compliance

- Product management experience in a fast paced, investment oriented finance company

- Leading and coaching a small tea
