Group Product Manager
- Achieve all the target numbers for the product category
- Achieve the targeted numbers for own group of products.
- Attain the numbers for select set of products / new products / focus products by adequate support to the sales team.
- Track, measure and attain set goals on market share for both volume and revenue for own group of products.
- Refer to competitors' analysis for the product categories to aid achievement of all the target numbers.
- Provide inputs for own group of products to enhance the product by tracking and analyzing feedback from the market
- Execute the new product development initiatives to ensure continued value enhancement of the product category
- Partner with Product Category Head to provide inputs on new products or ranges for own group of products.
- Perform periodic product and market reviews to identify gaps and areas of opportunity for the group of products.
- Liaison with Product Category Head to brainstorm new product development ideas for the group of products.
- Ensure product testing of new products/ranges for own group of products in partnership with the R&D team.
- Execute the GTM plan for the new products for own group of products.
- Track competition to evaluate products vis- vis competition for own group of products
- Execute the BTL communication for the product category
- Execute the on-ground promotion initiatives for the group of products.
- Implement on-ground promotion activities through BTL in partnership with creative agencies.
- Liaison with the Brand team to ensure implementation of ATL activities.
- Ensure execution of Marketing activities and initiatives for the product category
- Understand market requirements and development of collaterals and POS elements to help promote the range of products for own group of products.
- Coordinate with various marketing vendors and agencies to ensure smooth and timely execution of the collaterals.
- Identify regional priorities and opportunities to create comprehensive marketing initiatives to achieve identified objectives.
- Plan and fulfill the demand of products/ ranges for the product category
- Ensure adequate and regular supply of products across markets in collaboration with the sales and supply chain team for own group of products
- Build synergies internally to enable smooth functioning of own group of products
- Partner with the Supply Chain to track the supply status and plan the production of own group of products.
- Liaison with R&D team to build long term and short term product plans and discuss solutions to customer complaints / feedback for own group of products
- Manage and grow the talent within the team by following people management initiatives
- Support Product Category Head in hiring best talent in the Product Category, developing and engaging them.
- Create a working environment that encourages high performance culture and conversations in the team
