Group Manager, Transfer Agency Operations - Grade L

It is an investments company. They provide investment management, investment services and wealth management that help institutions and individuals succeed in markets all over the world.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Directs an area consisting of multiple teams that are responsible for conducting transfer agency operations on behalf of a broad array of assigned clients. Responsible for the financial and human resources for the unit and ensures assigned teams are operating effectively to meet unit goals and objectives. Executes business plans and contributes to the development of functional strategy.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Sets guidelines for in processing distributions, completion of NAV/Rate updates, fund audit fulfillment, gain and loss reporting, settlement, commissions, invoicing and financial payments. Promotes consistency across product areas. Oversees relationship management for a broad set of clients.

2. Ensures customer service levels meet client needs and resolves any client issues. Sets new client onboarding and fund security master record-keeping standards for area to ensure that policies, procedures and best practices are consistently adhered to and errors are minimized.

3. Ensures clients are in compliance with IRS regulatory standards. Makes accurate and timely delivery of all tax forms to shareholders. Oversees Federal and State reporting requirements, ensuring timely and accurate information reporting.

4. Interacts with systems personnel, IRS personnel, clients, client services, internal and external vendors and other operating units to make certain that deliverables and expectations are met or exceeded.

5. Sets quality standards for transfer agency operations teams and reviews quality metrics to ensure standards are met. Analyzes trends and develops processes to improve team performance.

6. Provide direction and leadership to exempt and non-exempt staff. Manages and provides leadership to assigned personnel along with providing technical and advisory guidance. Recruits, directs, motivates and develops staff, maximizing their individual contribution, their professional growth and their ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team.

LEADERSHIP

Manages multiple transfer agency operations teams that do work for a broad array of clients. Work is primarily accomplished through subordinate managers.
