Skills:

- IT Infrastructure Roadmap (End User, Enterprise Computing, Networking, Security, Telephony)

- Contribute towards strategy and budget delivery that ensures the delivery and continued operation of the IT infrastructure to deliver IT Services

- Lead strategic technology initiatives to build and maintain key elements of WEL's enterprise infrastructure and associated project portfolio, including but not limited to data center infrastructure management and evolution, mobility and remote access services, ubiquitous wireless networks, multiple cloud environments, enterprise-scale messaging environments, active directory multi-forest integration, software-defined inter-networking, and innovative end-user computing solutions

- Architect, supervise and participate in the implementation of technologies and platforms supporting a complex corporate data and voice infrastructure that can create business value

Infrastructure & Service Delivery

- Lead the delivery of IT Infrastructure Services to WEL business through the outsourced partner including Enterprise Computing Services (Datacenter Hosting, Server Uptime for the SAP landscape), cloud services, and the service desk and desk side support for the 2500 users across multiple locations

- Lead and oversee the technology project implementation in the areas of IT Services. For example ( SAP Server replacements, SAN replacements, Desktop / Laptop refresh, Introduction of new technologies that are relevant to the business)

- Ensure high availability of enterprise voice and data platforms that support internal employee business functions and external customer contact

- Troubleshoot and remediate escalated issues impacting the operation of the corporate voice and data infrastructure

- Establish metrics, key performance indicators, and service level agreements to continually improve the performance of IT operations

- Oversee awareness-building programs for employees to facilitate knowledge enhancement and improved functional and attitudinal effectiveness towards ongoing and new tools and applications

BAU Efficiencies

- Lead a team of WEL employees and consultants diligently towards effective project & service delivery to the business;

- Ensure comprehensive disaster recovery architecture is maintained and operations are in place during business continuity events (emphasizing but not limited to storage area networks and redundant, highly-available server and network architectures

- Manage IT budgets and spends.

- Continuous focus on improving cost of delivery/service; Carry out evaluations/analysis/reviews are vital for the project and service deliveries to the business

- Supervise teams & external partners to ensure delivery of IT Services to agreed levels of cost and availability

- Ensure sustained operational efficiencies on the new infrastructure

IT Security

- Ensure that WEL business has a robust policy, standards, and guidelines environment that is fit for purpose

- Ensure compliance with the policy framework

- Continuously monitor risks from the technology environment and ensure actions to mitigate
