Description

- Extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, mainly exploration (upstream),

Understand the

- Entire value chain of the oil and gas industry from E&P perspective (including equipment and service providers) - from bidding a seismic survey a development a production a maintenance

- Have worked with service companies (on the exploration, drilling, development, maintenance/ monitoring of activities in the upstream space)

- Geopolitical factors, macroeconomic indicators and demand/ supply scenarios in energy markets

- Exposure to valuation models, initiating coverage on company/ sector

- Ability to analyze industry/business issues both from commercial - perspective. Further, should be capable of developing and presenting a point of view on cutting edge industry topics

- Ability to provide industry examples upfront to substantiate a - hypothesis/ solve client issue

- Active participation in and contribution to team discussions. - Ability to come up with effective approaches to deal with project and/or sector specific issues, etc

- Ability to solve complex - problems and offer structured solutions

Skills Required

- In-depth knowledge of the upstream sector (from both, technical - and business perspective)

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Independent thinking and problem solving

- Client facing.

Education and Experience

- B.Tech + MBA from a premier institute(Must be from only Top 10)

- 4-15 years of prior work - experience in the Oil and Gas sector (service companies, I-banks, Oil and Gas companies).
