Job Responsibilities :
- Produce quarterly manager commentary by assessing the performance of fund/investment strategies
- Asset allocation and portfolio construction as per client goals and risk appetite.
- Prepare and amend investment policy statements.
- Fund managers screening and preparation of search report.
- Project management, work allocation, peer review, process training and development of team members
- Responsible for mentoring and leading a group of front line managers on client deliverables in an investment research and project based environment.
- Client/Onshore relationship management and enhancement
- Liaisoning with onshore colleagues for driving workflow improvement initiatives within the group, find best practices and process efficiencies, providing suggestions and offering testing/feedback of potential solutions.
- Review performance of team against goals and take corrective measures as required.
- Create succession plans and define, delegate and monitor the various employee engagement initiatives for the assigned shop.
- Responsible for selection, training, and evaluation of the skills of the supervisors and their staffs in making the investment judgments involved with the consulting-support processes they are performing.
Desired Profile :
- Excellent understanding in wealth management, investment management, fund management and different asset classes.
- Strong analytical, logical and client handling skills.
- 10-15 years of relevant experience in fund research and investment management. Pursuing CFA will be an added advantage.
- Should be flexible to work in US shifts
- Experience of analyzing investment portfolios or researching investment managers located outside of India
- Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, business communication, and time management skills.
- Strong level of understanding and proper usage of investment-related terminology.
- Ability to multitask, manage multiple priorities and work in a rapidly changing and dynamic environment, ensuring standards and deadlines are met and keeping others informed and up-to-date.
- Ability to understand the link between data, client needs and its application to the bigger picture.
- Excellent client management and leadership Skills with ability to manage diverse teams
- High proficiency in Excel and proficiency in other Microsoft Office applications.
