The ideal candidate will oversee all legal matters, provide strategic legal advice, manage legal risks, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. This role requires excellent leadership skills, deep legal knowledge, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams. Responsibilities: - Provide strategic legal advice to senior management on a wide range of legal issues affecting the organization. - Manage and oversee the legal department. - Develop and implement legal strategies, policies, and procedures to safeguard the organization's interests and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. - Review, draft, and negotiate a variety of contracts, agreements, and legal documents, including but not limited to, vendor contracts, employment agreements, and licensing agreements. - Monitor and evaluate legal risks associated with business activities and provide proactive guidance to mitigate such risks. - Represent the organization in legal proceedings, including litigation, arbitration, and regulatory investigations. - Collaborate with external legal counsel on complex legal matters and manage the legal budget effectively. - Stay informed about changes in laws and regulations that may impact the organization and advise management accordingly. - Develop and conduct legal training programs for employees to promote awareness of legal issues and compliance requirements. - Foster a culture of ethics, integrity, and compliance throughout the organization. Experience - Must have international law experience. - Minimumm 8 years experience with a Listed company.
