Group General Manager - Profit Centre Head - Manufacturing/Steel

Role & responsibilities :

- The incumbent will work with the management team and be the P&L head for the operation.

- Understand group vision and formulate the best strategies to accomplish the same.

- Act like a bridge between the management and employee and create conducive environment to work in organization.

- Implement the right system and procedure in various departments.

- Team Building.

- Overall responsible for operation of all the group companies in Ethiopia as profit center including statutory compliance.

- Handling the finance function and compliance on VAT, Income tax.

- Liaison with government agencies, financial institutions, customers/suppliers, etc .

- Managing Human resource of organization.

- Analytical approach to solve the problem and understand expenses & capex.

- Updating management about the current status and future way forward.

- Helps in executing the new projects.

Key Skills :

Educational back ground :

- Masters in accounts & finance/ Business Administration

- Age between 40-50

- Excellent communication skill.

- Must demonstrate team builder and leadership quality.

Previous experience :

- Heading a manufacturing company with sizable operation. Previous employment of steel hot rolling and cement will be added advantage.
