Group Finance Manager/Finance Controller - BFSI

- Responsible for presenting and reporting financial health of the Group

- Supervising day to day operations and transaction of Holding /Corporate Companies of the Group, Morocco entities, Gabon and Congo entities

- Guiding and recommending Senior Executives for various Group level financial decisions, including but not limited to financial position, financial restructuring, results and other related

- Providing usual and adhoc information to Senior Executive for their analysis and reporting

- Guiding and managing the local finance mangers for the day to day accounting and financial technical maters

- Ensure Group compliance with the IFRSs

- Coordination with Group Tax Manager to ensure country tax compliance, tax accounting for income taxes, reviewing and recommending accounting treatment for various tax exposure (contingent and non-contingent). Compliance with tax legislation

- Coordination with Group Audit Manager to ensure timely closure of Audit

- Coordination with the Financial Planning and Analysis team, Group Treasury for their information needs and to enable them to comply with their reporting requirements

- Coordination with various department/team across Averda to ensure consistencies in Financial data and information

- Coordination with Group Auditors, Consultants and to contract outside the Group for various services required by Corporate Finance on a need basis

- Supervising the preparation of internal and external financial reports, external audit, maintaining books of accounts, month-end closing, applying policies and procedures and complying with IFRS and local GAAP
