Group Finance Controller

The Group Finance Controller will be responsible for leading and overseeing the financial operations of companies. This Position will encompass financial management, reporting, risk assessment, compliance, and strategic decision support. This Group Finance Controller will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial health and sustainability of the organization, as well as providing financial leadership to drive growth and profitability.

Major Responsibilities:

1. Budgeting and Financial Reporting:

a. Expertise in designing accounting processes such that accurate and timely financial statements are delivered on every month.

b. Expertise in detailed planning and execution of Annual audits at country and group consolidated level in a way that the group FS are signed within 45 days from year end.

c. Skilled in consolidating multi-country/multi-currency financial statements.

d. Engaging and convincing Big four auditors on the financial policies and accounting positions taken by company

e. Ability to highlight and provide inputs on financial performance of the business to the CFO and other senior executives.

f. Experienced in budgeting, financial modelling and forecasting.

h. Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity management across the group, optimizing cash resources to support business operations and growth.

2. Technical Accounting and IFRS Expertise:

a. Knowledge of disclosure requirements and regulatory compliance.

b. Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

c. Experience in implementing and maintaining accounting policies across the group.

d. Manage relationships with Tax Authority, External Auditors and others stakeholders.

3. Support in fund raising and Investor reporting:

a. Exposure to getting Due-Diligence done, creation of financial model, preparing volume/value analytical reports for investor query on financials and financial model, etc. for Debt or equity capital raising from investors.

b. Tracking of financial commitments made in the agreements with investor and alerting Management on monthly basis.

4. Taxation and Risk Management:

a. Knowledge of financial risk factors and the ability to develop risk mitigation strategies.

b. Experience in implementing and monitoring internal controls.

c. Skill in identifying and managing financial risks across the group.

d. Ability to navigate complex direct and indirect tax regulatory environments in different regions.
