Profile : - Degree in Computer Science, IT Management, or similar - A minimum of 10 years of experience in IT - Experience with WAN/LAN infrastructure - Experience with Point of Sale (P.O.S) & Property Management System (P.M.S.) - Experience with MICROS/OPERA is highly preferred - Experience with Vendor Management - Comprehensive knowledge of Switch, Networking, Cisco, Firewall, Core Switch, Windows Server, and overall Hotel Operating/Management systems - Experience managing multi-cultural teams - 5 & leisure resort experience - Island or remote location experience - Experience in a large, complex, multi revenue stream environment - Strong system management skills, hardware and software, and trouble-shootings - Ability to organize and plan own work and work on own initiative - A flexible, pro-active approach to work including the ability to prioritize and re-prioritize to achieve successful outcomes - Ability to deal with sensitive information with discretion and to maintain confidentiality at all times - Excellent team working skills with the ability to work collaboratively and co-cooperatively with colleagues - Critical Thinking - Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems - Technologically savvy - Thinking outside the box/innovative ideas - Good team builder - Strategic thinking - Result oriented and a great eye for details - Excellent English both written and verbal - Positive attitude - Strong leadership skills and ability to develop and motivate his/her team - Driven, ambitious, very dynamic - Able to work under pressure and fast respond to meet the deadlines - Energetic, creative, hands-on, flexible, motivated - Capable of adapting to different cultures and island life
