Position: Group Business Development Manager

It is a Conglomerate which has activities diversified into manufacturing, services, retail & distribution, property development & maintenance and health care. It is one of the most reputed business houses in the Sultanate of Oman.

- The position is based at the Corporate Head Office in Muscat and will report to the Executive Committee of the Group.

The position envisages the following role:

- Identifying business opportunities for the Group in areas such as logistics, upcoming infrastructure projects in Railways, Oil & Gas products and services, Tourism, Downstream Products from petroleum and refining, Petrochemicals, Aluminium, Steel etc.

- The suitable candidate would be able to identify a particular industry, analyse and understand its potential for investment and prepare and present a business feasibility study after considering the market dynamics, business process and critical success factors.

- In the event of the project being approved, he should be capable of interacting with the appropriate Government authorities & agencies, potential partners, Banks, legal consultants to set up the new business before handing over to the operations team.

The ideal candidate will have the following skill sets and qualifications:

- He should be an MBA with an engineering degree from reputed institution in India.

- He should have at least 10 years post MBA experience

- He should have an excellent communication skills

- He should have previous experience and track record in a similar role.
