Key Responsibilities:
- Measure product performance by keeping a tight watch on Conversion (cart, traffic), Order Value, Bounce Rate, Traffic etc
- Create and implement standard operating procedures & ensure adherence by cross teams
- Analyze data or insights to determine industry and consumer trends.
- Devise long-term development strategies for product categories
- Develop exit strategies for unsuccessful products
- Foster trust relationships with vendors/ procurement to achieve better pricing and quality of services
- Place appropriate orders to ensure product availability that meets consumer demands
- Determine the positioning of a product category to maximize visibility
- Liaise with marketing teams to determine competitive pricing and promotional activities of a product category
- Collaborate with sourcing/supply to expand product categories
- Make forecasts for product demand to build sustainable inventory
- Assume responsibility of budget development and revenue for category
- Closely work with technology teams for improving category shopping experience
- Develop in-depth understanding of categories and customer needs and pain points & deep dive into analysis of consumer behaviors & trends, by reviewing the internal & external data
- Conduct market research for an assigned topic to dig out relevant data and insights
