Manager - Category Management

Responsibilities

- Drive insights through product & consumer data to help identify opportunities to improve category performance

- Understand and apply demographics and industry insights using research to deliver category growth

- Create customer journeys and selling models for present category and emerging categories

- Cross communication throughout the development process by partnering with a variety of internal teams including marketing, supply and customer support

- Use research, analysis & feedback to identify product requirements to drive customer satisfaction

- Keep status of key business metrics to identify risks, opportunity and gaps

- Collaborate with marketing to create key strategies to improve performance

- Closely work with Catalog to manage imagery, ratings and enhanced content

- Strong control on gross margins by continuously optimizing pricing and shipping

- Continuous process improvement to secure operational excellence

Requirements :

- Proven experience of 5-7 years as category manager or similar role

- Solid knowledge of category management, marketing and sales principles

- Understanding of data analysis and forecasting methods

- Proficient in MS Office

- An analytical mind with a strategic ability

- Excellent communication and people skills
