Job Responsibilities :

We are hiring a talented Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) head to lead our SEO initiatives across different countries (US,CA,UK,AUS,NZ,IND) for all our ecommerce brands ( Bannerbuzz, BestOfSigns, CoversAndAll, TarpsAndAll, NeonEarth, CircleOne)

Head of SEO, should help us increase the visibility and organic traffic of our websites and blog. The candidate will be in charge of leading a team of SEO specialists and overseeing both on-site and off-site SEO optimization. As a Head of SEO, other tasks would include performing keyword research, setting performance targets, devising SEO strategies and content marketing campaigns, analysing the results of past and ongoing SEO strategies and identifying potential areas of improvement.

The SEO head will ensure all content produced by our content team and Social team is SEO optimized, and that all SEO activities are executed in a timely manner within the allocated budget. The candidate will report to our CMO and work with content and marketing departments to implement SEO and marketing strategies

There will be 3 Key responsibilities :

- Business : Lead revenue from SEO as channel and drive ROI

- SEO content strategy : Online, Offline, SEO Content strategy development and innovations

- Ecommerce Operations : Lead the SEO team operations across platforms(Google, Bing, others)

- As a SEO head, candidate should bring to the team latest digital technologies and SEO trends, and should be able to work across department to meet company objectives.

- Should be excellent team players and will have to work with Content, category, creative, product and technology team.

- The Head of SEO also plays a mentorship role to the SEO Manager and the Senior SEO Manager by guiding them in the execution of their functions, constantly ensuring improvement in their professional skills and essentially readying them for the occupation of his position.

Responsibilities :

- Supervise a team of SEO specialists and oversee the implementation of 1) on-site 2) Tech SEO and 3) Off-site SEO strategies

- Conduct market and keyword research to develop content plans

- Set SEO performance goals and measure them using KPIs, such as organic traffic, search rankings, search engine visibility, and click-through rate

- Collaborate with Search Engine Marketing strategies and ensure SEO strategies are in sync

- Launch new product and ensure SEO contributes significant traffic (traffic share and revenue share)

- Optimize web content, landing pages using data collected from SEO analysis and research

- Monitor and analyse ongoing SEO campaigns to identify problem areas and suggest ways for improvement

- Staying ahead of the trends, strategies and tactics within SEO and digital marketing (AMP, algorithm changes, etc.)

- Develop blog strategy as per overall SEO content strategy Negotiating backlinks

- Review and optimize old content according to SEO best practices

Experience requirement :

- 12 to 15 years of hands on SEO experience with 5+ years of experience working as a Head of SEO or a similar role

- Knowledge of the best on-site, tech-SEO and off-site SEO practices, have demonstrated capabilities

- Experience using the most popular website crawlers (ScreamingFrog, DeepCrawl, and Moz), SEO analysis tools (Ahrefs, Semrush, and SEOptimer), and web analytics software (WebTrends, UserTesting, GA4, Adobe)

- Strong leadership and multitasking skills

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Detail-oriented, analytical, organized

Education Qualification : Bachelor of Technology & Post Graduate in Marketing
