The person will be responsible for forecasting of inventory by completely understanding and analyzing demand side of business. Candidate should be at capacity of understanding, communicating, prioritizing the demand to do inventory planning &amp; forecasting. We are looking for someone who has excellent logical ability and data analysis skills. Demand Analysis: - Candidate should be able to understand the Origin of orders, why, when and at what frequency the orders are coming in. In short, candidate should capability to take total control on Demand side. - Candidate should be capable of facilitating agreement on forecast uncertainty. - Candidate should be capable of aligning forecasts to manage Supply implications. - Participate in development and evaluation of what if scenarios to resolve demand/supply imbalances. Storage &amp; Inventory Planning: - Basis demand analysis the person should be capable of planning complete supply chain which will consist of : - Inventory Planning: Define Buying Cycle, indenting logic basis new demand plan. - Storage and DOI Planning: Mapping demand targets with available storage to raise concerns if any and planning DOI targets for the future. - Candidate should lead proficient use of demand sensing, demand shaping, - what if- forecasting techniques in alignment with business &amp; strategic priorities. Other Projects: - Candidate should be looking into and taking up other small inventory, purchase &amp; liquidation related project.
