Objective of the role: We are looking for a Lead-Data Analytics with strong and outstanding analytical skill set who will be responsible for analyzing and transforming large amounts of business data into actionable insights, redefining existing metrics to influence analytical direction, designing data models to lead planning road map and collaborating with other business functions to drive forecasting accuracy, storage optimization, ordering planning and improving DOI. The candidate should be capable of independently identifying and resolving problem statements & develop best practices providing business intelligence that is readily available, accurate, innovative and actionable Key Responsibilities: The role will be a part of the Inventory Management function. The candidate will report to the Director-Inventory Planning and will be heading the Data Analytics team for Inventory Planning. Key responsibilities as listed below: - Data Analytics - Cost Benefit analysis - Assortment performance analysis - Identifying Problem statement and RCA on the problem statement and possible solutions and Implementation of the same - Scalability and migration on newer data platforms Data Sciences and Simulations - Statistical Modelling - Creating and Deploying- Ordering, Buying, Inventory Movement simulators - Machine Learning: Prediction Modelling for various aspects of planning involved such as Storage, Fill Rate et al - Improve existing architecture and schema to enable data access and understanding to all stakeholders and ensure data mapping for all the modeling parameters which would be used in prediction systems - Preparing framework and road map to implement Blockchain algorithms to support life cycle analysis with the advancement of business needs Reports Management - Design, plan, develop, automate and deploy reports and dashboards - Alert system to flag out system anomalies, business loss due to unavailability of products, DOI estimates derivations, availability/current holding tracking, payments tracking, receiving tracking, stock movement tracking etc. Key Requirements: Functional Skill Set: - 6-10 years of experience in Banking/Insurance/ Consulting/Retail/E-commerce - Extensive experience in languages like SQL, python - Proficiency in Advanced MS Excel (Macro proficient), VBA, etc - Automation using Python - Reporting and dashboard preparation using Tableau/similar platform Competencies: - Leadership/Team handling skills - Problem Solving &amp; Analytical skills - Stakeholder Management Educational Qualification: - B.
