PURPOSE OF THE JOB
1. Manage, Motivate, Coach the team members working in the region.
2. Sells products by maintaining and expanding the dealer network
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Accomplishes regional sales human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees.
2. Communicating the job expectations to the team, planning, monitoring, appraising and reviewing job contributions.
3. Enforcing HR policies and procedures.
4. Achieves regional sales operational objectives by contributing regional sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews.
5. Preparing and completing action plans to achieve the business target.
6. Implementing productivity, quality work, and customer-service standards.
7. Resolving problems within the region, identifying sales trends, determining regional sales system improvements, implementing change management etc.,
8. Meets Regional Sales volume objectives by forecasting requirements to the Head Quarters.
9. Establishes sales objectives in the region by creating a sales plan and quota for areas in support of the countrys business objectives.
10. Maintains and expands dealer base by counselling area sales personnel, building and maintaining a good rapport with key accounts, identifying new business opportunities.
11. Recommends new product opportunities, packaging, and service changes, surveying customer needs and trends, tracking competitors.
12. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks.
13. Accomplishes sales and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
1. The suitable candidate should possess an educational background in Fisheries Science or Biology. Holding a masters degree in Business Administration in Sales & Marketing will be an added advantage.
2. Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience at supervisory & managerial positions in Shrimp feed sales or Health care products from reputed Companies.
3. Experience in managing large teams. Work experience at large scale shrimp farming districts of maritime states.
4. Hands-on experience in Shrimp farming would be an added advantage.
5. Strong communication and people management skills with diversified cultures.
6. It is preferred to have solid leadership skills and abilities. Analytical and interpersonal skills are required, along with the ability to think strategically.
