PURPOSE OF THE JOB :
- To run the Project Management Office (PMO) in India and work seamlessly with General Manager, Group Head of PMO and senior management to drive sales & marketing, business development and other value creation initiatives (VCI).
To improve the company's go-to-market capabilities across the organization to accelerate growth and drive further functional feed penetration.
- To assist the company to outgrow the market consistently and to establish Grobest as the leading platform in the Indian aquaculture market.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES :
Sales & Marketing:
- Support Country Business Head, Group Head of PMO and senior management team to achieve successful market penetration and growth.
-Help strategize and implement sales initiatives, monitor sales & marketing KPIs/milestones and achieve sales targets.
- Develop action plans for these levers, incl. KPIs (commercial and operational), responsibilities, milestones and action steps, and ensure commitment/understanding of project leaders.
Help review pricing and margin trends across countries for key products and develop actions where needed (i.e., value-based pricing approach).
- Help local management to develop value propositions and marketing communication strategies for key products, particularly functional feed.
- Develop and improve performance and tracking mechanism: Set up governance structure (i.e. regular Steering Committees), and coordinate communications.
- Report progress at country level meetings. Assignment Brief. Track progress, including developing an - early warning signal- framework to identify execution risks.
- Challenge constructively relevant country management (GM, Sales/Operations teams)/functional leadership where overall targets are at risk.
Strategy Development and Implementation Support:
- Work with group leadership to executive and update strategy for India operations.
- Help to develop action plans for the India strategy and support key stakeholders on its implementation.
- Evaluate progress towards strategic goals, identify upside potential/downside risks and proactively suggest alternative/incremental actions.
- Identify potential market shifts (product, customer, competitor, regulatory), if any, and develop proactive plans.
Stakeholder Management as a Trusted Advisor:
- Develop trusted relationships with group leadership, country management in India and key internal and external shareholders.
- Gain the trust of the board by demonstrating transparency and credibility, and straightforward communications.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE :
- Degree holder in Business, Economics or related field. MBA is preferred but not a must. Proven management consulting experience from a top-tier consulting firm (PMO experience preferred); or experience as an in-house PMO leader.
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Ability to analyze, interpret issues and present solutions to complex problems to stakeholders, facilitate large group meetings to resolve issues.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills in listening to/managing internal (e.g. board members, C-suite, country managers) and external (investor, customers across APAC region) stakeholder expectations.
- Driven, ambitious and able to work independently. Ability to command authority and mobilize resources to enable the company's growth.
- Strong team player with a hands-on - can-do- attitude. Self-starter who enjoys making a positive impact on business.
- Commercial and growth mindset, able to support the country managers to grow the top line.
- Good presentation skills and ability to put data together in a presentable manner for various stakeholders.
