What You'll Do?

Accounting & Book Keeping :

- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness

- Manage the monthly financial book closing process, including ensuring all revenue earned and costs incurred are properly recorded, reviewing journal entries, account balance reconciliations and report preparation

- Interact at all levels and with budget owners or other stakeholders to produce timely, efficient and accurate month-end close and all internal management and financial reporting through annual report

- Ensure Compliance to all relevant tax statutes for all Group entities

- Ensure the statutory, internal and other audits are completed accurately and within time

- Analyse the effect of statutory accounting practices and studies regulations and guidance to ensure correct application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles

Compliances :

- Ensure compliance with internal control policies

- Collaborate with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance

Process Improvement :

- Participate in the ongoing development/establishment of accounting policies and procedures and operational strategies including the review and implementation of process and system changes

- Help Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in Accounting, Finance and Compliance functions

- Continued focus on improving system efficiencies and business practices

- Participate in strategic financial projects including upgrades to internal software

- Providing leadership in strengthening internal communications with staff at all levels throughout the organization; creating and promoting a positive and supportive work environment

We are looking for an experienced CA professional with 5+ years of experience in the field of management Accounting/ Controlling function. Candidates with work experience with a Big4 accounting firm will be preferred.

Your Superpowers :

- CA with 5+ years of progressive accounting experience. A candidate with prior experience in a supervisory role would be preferred

- Thorough knowledge of Indian GAAP, Direct and Indirect Taxation relating to Corporate Accounting

- Good presentation and computational skills.

- Experience in process improvements, organised with attention to detail

- Sense of ownership and responsibility

- Dedicated individual with a zeal to drive and achieve results

- Keen analytic, organization and problem solving skills which allows for strategy
