Grexter - Manager - Operations - Furniture Segment

Responsibilities:

- Supervision and motivation of a team of carpenters, upholstery workers etc.

- Maintaining BOQ/BOM and cost structure for the products.

- Inventory management, vendor management and sourcing of material related to furniture products.

- Demand and supply analysis.

- Planning of daily, weekly and monthly workshop operations and its management thereof.

- Drive operational excellence across the site, developing and implementing best practices and making extensive use of Lean Six Sigma techniques to simplify workflows and reduce cycle times. Lead and support initiatives such as cost of quality/Lean, total cost initiatives

- Managing and organizing workshop and equipment to support the workshop activity.

- Proactively setting up of KRAs, incentive structure for team and periodical review of same.

- Actively ensures his/her own health and safety, together with that of fellow workers, at all time.

- Adherences to compliances

- Develop and implement SOPs

Skills :

- Strong project management and problem resolution skills, with ability to execute and implement projects to completion

- Promote and own a working environment to achieve excellence in EHS, Compliance, Quality, Customer Service & Productivity

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, environment
