Greenland (America) Inc. was established in 1980 and is a family owned company. Our head office is in Atlanta, USA. We have our offices in Mumbai, India and Guangzhou, China. We specialize in the buying/selling of non-ferrous and ferrous scrap metals. We source metal primarily from USA, Canada, Mexico and South America and sell to India, China, Taiwan, Korea, Japan, etc.

Founder Profile:

Vishal Jatia is the President of Greenland (America) Inc. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2003 and joined the family business. He is based in Mumbai, India and runs the business from the India office. He manages a team of about 40-50 people spread across the different offices.

Project Manager / ERP Implementation:

Job Profile :

We are looking for a candidate with exceptional IT skills. We currently have a basic ERP system that has been developed in-house. We are looking for a candidate who will take this to the next level. The first phase would be to understand our existing system and create new modules within the existing framework. The second phase will be to completely revamp the system using better technology to generate the information required and more.

Responsibilities:

- Understand the existing system from beginning to end

- Be able to take it over completely and add new modules

- Be able to meet deadlines and deliver exceptional quality work

- Be able to recommend certain ideas/suggestions to management

Skills Needed:

An ideal candidate will have the following skill set:

- Top performer with a computer / electrical engineering degree from a top-tier institution

- Strong programming ability (currently use C#, ASP.NET, SQL/Access - but this can change)

- Hard working with an attention to detail

- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
