Great Lakes - Assistant General Manager/Deputy General Manager - Branding (5-15 yrs)

We are looking for a AGM/DGM - Branding to join our team. If you understand the power of strategic branding, have a track record of making a difference and can work in partnership with stakeholders to develop strategic solutions, we want you on our team!

Key Responsibilities :

1. Defining an optimal brand position and strategy for Great Lakes and developing, executing, managing and measuring its effective implementation across the school

2. Successfully building/refining a brand communication strategy that will articulate the brand as well as increase awareness of the category in an effective manner

3. Executing the brand strategy across offline and digital channels. Work with agencies to build the social media channels for the brand

4. Leading a team of professionals to deliver high quality branding material to increase the reach and profile of the School and its programs across all media platforms for internal and external audiences

5. Partnering closely with team members, including marketing, content, creative services, communications and media relations, to build and execute integrated campaigns that are part of the long-term brand strategy

6. Ideation, planning & control of BTL activities and events undertaken on the brand

7. Reviewing and participating in creative development work streams for customer touch points

8. Managing relationships with creative and media buying agencies and other partners

9. Developing actionable customer insights through consumer research

10. Monitoring market trends and competitors to identify opportunities for the schools positioning

11. Developing actionable customer insights through new and existing customer research

Qualifications, Experience and Competency requirements :

1. Bachelors degree & MBA in Marketing (preferable)

2. Direct experience in brand management, a deep understanding of brand development and execution, and the demonstrated ability to build consensus and momentum with teams.

3. Demonstrated experience in development and execution of effective marketing and communication strategies in other industries than higher education and the ability to apply those skills and talents to their portfolio of work

4. Proven ability to develop and execute an integrated marketing strategy with metrics for success

5. Market intelligence around best practices and current trends

6. Ability to work with senior management on critical time sensitive business initiatives

7. Excellent communication, collaboration, and planning skills with meticulous attention to detail

8. Should be a go-getter, self-driven and well organised
