We are looking for a Chief Manager - Finance & Accounts who lead our entire accounting, compliance and finance functions. We are searching for someone who can take complete ownership of these functions and build a strong financial foundation for our company. This will be a core team position working directly with the CEO. This position will require active representation of our company to key external stakeholders including our lenders, our institutional investors and statutory and internal auditors. - Plan fund allocation in coordination with Founders and Leadership Team - Ensuring timely disbursement of monthly expenses like payroll, reimbursement, recurring payments. - Should have proficient knowledge about GST and TDS Filings, PT Returns and PF Filings. - Perform monthly/quarterly/year-end financial closing activity in close coordination with the business teams (and other internal teams) - Perform financial reporting and responsible for monthly P&L analysis and financial forecasts - Measuring and monitoring of metrics/KPIs - Cost center mapping and unit economic analysis on a periodic basis - Demonstrate appropriate understanding and working knowledge of accounting principles, direct and indirect taxation, company law and RBI regulations - Ensure appropriate financial policies, procedures and internal controls are in place, documented and operating as intended - Facilitating in the debt raising activity of the company with Banks & NBFCs - Liaising with all internal and external stakeholders (including Auditors) - Ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. - Working on business finance for creating budgets as part of their financial planning strategies Candidate Requirements - Prefer a Qualified CA with 2+ year experience post qualification. We are okay to consider a CA inter. - Proficiency in accounting software (Tally) - Proficiency in excel, spreadsheet and Google Sheets is a must - Solid analytical and decision-making skills. Ability to learn quickly is one of the strongest attributes we will seek. - Experience in Fintech/ NBFC/Housing Finance Company/MicroFinance NBFC will be an added advantage but not a requirement - Strong startup ethos and a roll up your sleeve mindset is an absolute must About Us GrayQuest is a 4 year old fintech lending company that has quickly grown to be a market leader in its niche of education (k12) finance in India.
