CATEGORY MANAGER

Job description:

- Sourcing of fruits and vegetables on daily basis as per indent plan, and at given price band.

- Procurement directly from farmers and build a strong network of farmers across India

- Should develop a deep relationship with Farmers / Vendors across India

- Ensure the sourcing through Interaction with Mandi/Sourcing Team and Quality Team

- Achieve Sales Volume YTD (Budget Vs Actual) as per the annual operating plan/budget

- Daily price bench marking & implementation of Pricing Guidelines as per the performance

- Defines the category strategy, conceives and develops action plans in order to reach the agreed KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), regarding P&L (Profit & Loss)

- Planning and execution of promotional activities for the sales improvement on the Promotional Articles

- Ensure the Seasonal Assortment availability Indent-Supply-Sale monitoring

- Ensure the fill rates- Line and Quantity, Forecasting & Planning Process in association with the States

- Develop new network / Sourcing belts or consolidators for improving availability and buying efficiency

Experience Range in years: 4- 8 yrs.

- Must have sourcing & Buying experience of Fruits & Vegetable from farmers and mandi

- Ready to travel in Pan India 70% Field Job.
