- GrabOnRent is looking for a dynamic, a team-oriented, and a strategic thinker to be the City Head for Hyderabad. We believe that the best Leaders have a broad skill set, the most important being street-smart. We are sure if you are applying for this position, you should be ready to lead, possess an analytical approach, take excellent business judgments, and hold a deep curiosity about how things work.

- A city head in GrabOnRent works as a mini CEO for the assigned city and handles all the activities of the city.

- You must enjoy context switching and operate at all levels of the organization from long range planning to program-level deep dives.

Responsibilities :

- Primary responsibility is to drive the growth and efficiency of city operations. Using your influencing skills, together with data analysis and creativity in - getting stuff done-, you will be able to drive through improvements and positively collaborate with the team.

- Manage all the activities of an order - business development, vendor management, delivery, pick-up, services & recovery.

- Responsible for Strategizing and handling day to day operations in the respective city.

- Responsible for integration of ground operations with technology, core operations.

- To ensure long term and profitable relationships with business partners and supply retention

- Competitive Understanding - Keep a close watch on the competitive landscape of the city.

- Performance monitoring, cost and process optimization of last mile delivery

- Devise Implementation strategy for new products/process launched.

- Required to set targets, implement guidelines, and assist with any issues the employees may have at the city level.

- To acquire customers (demand) and driver partner (supply side) and improve the retention among the existing users of the platform

- Leading the marketing initiatives to drive new customer acquisitions and growth in revenues.

- Managing the administrative functions, operational performance reporting, streamlining processes and systems wherever possible.

- You will be responsible for continuing to build an extremely high calibre team and creating an environment that motivates people to thrive in their expertise and deliver aggressive results.

- You would be expected to handle crisis as they arrive and diffuse with appropriate solution.

Basic Qualifications

- Minimum 2 years of experience in operations management in an E-commerce company, SCM or related fields, customer experience, warehousing or related field.

- Superior analytical skills. Demonstrated ability to identify and solve ambiguous problem

- Deep understanding of customer acquisition and engagement methods and metrics

- Technology affinity and track record of employing systems to drive simplification and change

- Proficient in using Microsoft Excel, very strong analytical skills and data-driven; familiar with analysing and making decision based on numbers

- Fast learner and be comfortable working in a fast-changing start-up environment.

- The candidate will have experience managing a P&L either in a single business unit or product vertical or in a general management capacity

- Should be able to learn multi-layered operations and execute in short duration.

- Must be street smart and should have the ability to handle crunch situations (police cases, fire in the warehouse) effectively

- Believer of team-work (in other words must have strong leadership principles) - knows how to build a team, train them, and lead them to the right vision.

- Candidates who have spent considerable amount of time in Hyderabad & has solid understanding of the geography would be given preference.
