With its expansion to Mumbai, GrabOnRent is looking for a dynamic, a team-oriented, and a strategic thinker to be the Head, City Expansion. We believe that the best Leaders have a broad skill set, the most important being street-smart. You must enjoy context switching and operate at all levels of the organization from long range planning to program-level deep dives.

Responsibilities

- Primary responsibility is to drive the growth and efficiency of city operations. Using your influencing skills, together with data analysis and creativity in - getting stuff done-, you will be able to drive through improvements and positively collaborate with the team.

- Manage the P&L of the city and directly responsible for both demand and supply.

- Will require the individual to do analytical and have intuitive skills as the role directly impacts business growth by transferring data into winning real-world strategies.

- Able to strategize projects to increase city performance and constantly innovate the process flow of our operations.

- Work closely with the central Product and Operations team to solve for geographical or product level changes in the product/processes to improve customer experience.

- Leading the marketing initiatives to drive new customer acquisitions and growth in revenues.

- Managing the administrative functions, operational performance reporting, streamlining processes and systems wherever possible.

- You will be responsible for continuing to build an extremely high caliber team and creating an environment that motivates people to thrive in their expertise and deliver aggressive results

- Provide insights based on deep diving into the marketing data that help improve the customer experience and customer satisfaction

- Work with the content and business development teams to create tactical marketing plans to increase consumers- awareness towards renting

Basic Qualifications

- Minimum 5 years of experience in operations management in an E-commerce company, SCM or related fields, customer experience, warehousing or related field.

- Superior analytical skills. Demonstrated ability to identify and solve ambiguous problems. In particular, identifying customer needs and inventing new ways to meet those needs. Deep understanding of customer acquisition and engagement methods and metrics

- Technology affinity and track record of employing systems to drive simplification and change

- Proficient in using Microsoft Excel, very strong analytical skills and data-driven; familiar with analyzing and making decision based on numbers

- Fast learner and be comfortable working in a fast-changing startup environment.

- The candidate will have experience managing a P&L either in a single business unit or product vertical or in a general management capacity

- Should be able to learn multi-layered operations and execute in short duration.

- Must be street smart and should have the ability to handle crunch situations (police cases, fire in the warehouse) effectively

- Believer of team-work (in other words must have strong leadership principles) - knows how to build a team, train them, and lead them to the right vision.
