GoodWorker - Senior Product Designer

Millions of skilled workers in India continue to face major challenges finding employment in India. Workers are inevitably reliant on intermediaries, who often fail to deliver on skill-matching and long-term growth prospects for workers.

For the first time ever, we are providing workers in India with a digital, verified biodata through the GoodWorker platform. Workers in India can now be empowered to find jobs more easily, secure their livelihood and establish a formal career. At the same time, employers will also be able to enjoy improved efficiencies and cost benefits in hiring the right worker.

GoodWorker is built on Affinidi, an open and interoperable ecosystem that enables users to have control and ownership over their data.

Both GoodWorker and Affinidi are seeded by Temasek, a global investment company headquartered in Singapore.

We are looking for a world-class team to build and scale our startup to reach several million workers by 2025.

This role at GoodWorker provides a unique opportunity for a high performing individual to have broad impact. You will work closely with a talented and diverse group of engineers, product managers and industry experts.

Key Responsibilities

- Translate customer insights into concepts, personas, user journeys, storyboards, system maps, user flows, wireframes, visual design comps and prototypes with Sketch, Adobe CS, InVision, and other tools

- Incorporate user research and usability testing to iterate on product solutions

- Collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams

- Communicate the product's vision and articulate design decisions and trade-offs both verbally and visually

- Partner with engineering to ensure designs are properly implemented

- Introduce trends and exemplars across a variety of emerging technologies

- Conduct interviews with industry partners to help define product requirements

- Work closely with industry partners for product localisations and adaptations

- Facilitate and drive cross-discipline collaboration

- Execute UI design at both interaction and visual design level

- Define and execute product branding elements in collaboration with design team and go-to-market team

Ideal Candidate Requirements

- 2+ years of professional experience as an UI/UX Designer

- Experience in working in cross-functional and interdisciplinary teams including Product, Engineering, Business Development and Operations

- Working experience with Sketch, Adobe CS, and InVision

- Proven experience delivering concepts, personas, user journeys, storyboards, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, etc.

- B2C product design experience preferred

- Strong passion for working in a start-up environment

- Excellent people management skills to collaborate with colleagues and cross-functional teams.

- Interest/passion for blockchain technology is a plus
