Job purpose : Designing. Developing and deploying analytical solutions to deliver business value Duties and responsibilities : - Proven experience implementing and deploying advanced analytics solutions using R/Python. - Expertise in open source and/or competitive platforms - Knowledge of full application life cycle design tools and methodologies - Apply machine learning algorithms, statistical data analysis, computational linguistics, and similar tools to find useful patterns in data collections. - Measure, interpret and derive learnings from results of an analysis that will lead to improvements in underlying customer business processes, products or services. - Build prediction models that meet customer objectives - Excellent understanding of Analytics concepts and methodologies including machine learning (unsupervised and supervised) - Hand on in handling very large amounts of structured and unstructured data. - Understanding of Hadoop ecosystem Experience with machine learning algorithms and data mining techniques - Knowledge of Statistical Modelling, RDBMS &amp; Business Intelligence solutions preferred. Qualifications : Minimum qualifications: - Masters in a relevant Field such as Statistics, Computer Science or Applied Mathematics from tier 1 colleges with minimum 5 years of Relevant experience OR - MBA in Finance from a reputed institute and 3+ years of experience in a data-based research role, OR - PhD in Finance/Statistics/ Computers with at least 1 year of work experience Preferred Qualifications include: - Specialized knowledge Experience of Capital Market and Trade Analytics required - Skills Proficient in usage of R, SPSS, Python, MS Excel, Statistical Modelling, Quantitative approaches, Regression techniques, Time-series, customer segmentation, Visualization tools (e.g.: Tableau) Abilities: - Ability to be gracefully persuasive in discussions to get things done. - Ability to drive quality. - Ability to see big picture, think innovative and suggest out of box solutions. - Other characteristics such as personal characteristics Strong quantitative abilities, distinctive problem-solving and excellent analysis skills - Experience 4 to 6 Years of relevant experience Working conditions : - Ability to work well under pressure, fast-changing environment and tight deadlines. - Adaptable, able to manage projects independently and ready to assume a high level of responsibility as a member of a team - Candidate should be a self-motivated, flexible, detail oriented, multi-tasking &amp; support multiple priorities About Us : Golden Hills Capital is a financial services company based in Hyderabad.
