Job purpose  Analyzes financial status by collecting, monitoring, and studying data, providing trends and forecasts, explaining processes and techniques.   Duties and responsibilities -   1) Developing company valuations and financial models  2) Improving financial status by analyzing results, monitoring variances, identifying trends, recommending actions to management.  3) Conduct business studies on past, future and comparative performance and develop forecast models  4) Reconciles transactions by comparing and correcting data.  5) Conducting industry and company research and analysis  6) Developing varied industry expertise, and staying current on industry developments  7) Developing an understanding of the underlying trends that affect the capital markets  8) Candidates should be flexible to work on any requirements of the business  Qualifications -   Minimum qualifications:  Masters in Economics/ Bachelors in Commerce/ MBA in Finance from a reputed institute  Preferred Qualifications include:  1) Proficient in MS Excel and Power point. Knowledge of SQL, and/or statistical packages such as R, will be an added advantage  2) Skills: Worked on Bloomberg or FactSet  3) Abilities: Quantitative abilities, distinctive problem-solving and excellent analysis skills  4) Characteristics: Academic strength, strong teamwork, communication skills and a high energy level,  5) Experience : At least 1 Year of Relevant Experience  6) Professional Certification: CFA will be an added advantage
