Sr.Manager/Head of Supply Chain & Logistics

If you hold expertise in meticulously overseeing and optimizing international freight forwarding, shipments, and cargo management processes. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring seamless operations, cost-efficiency, and timely delivery across global markets. Join us!

Required Experience and Skills:

- Preferred engineering background plus MBA from a pedigree college

- 10+ years of experience in handling end to end supply chain including demand planning, supply planning, distribution and fulfilment center management, logistics in Consumer/E- commerce industry

- Should have extensive experience in critical problem solving

- Deep understanding of international shipping practices, customs regulations, and trade compliance

- Advanced proficiency in logistics software/systems

- Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills

- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities effectively

Role and Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to optimize international freight forwarding, shipment, and cargo management

- Spearhead the management of all aspects of international logistics, including transportation modes, customs clearance, and cargo handling

- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and global partners to streamline processes and enhance supply chain efficiency

- Analyse logistics data and performance metrics to identify areas for enhancement and implement solutions for operational improvement

- Negotiate contracts with logistics service providers, monitor transportation costs, and ensure cost-effective solutions without compromising quality

- Maintain compliance with international regulations governing logistics and trade, ensuring adherence to all standards and requirements

- Proactively assess and mitigate supply chain risks, managing contingencies and optimizing inventory management processes

- Implement and leverage technological tools and software systems to monitor shipments, track inventory, and enhance overall logistics operations

- Drive leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the supply chain operations team

- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team
