GoEx Freight Solutions - Regional Manager - Operations

A) Essential Skill:

1. Ensure vehicle placement on Pan India Basis

2. Provide Market/Sourcing rate for all enquiries received from all Areas /Branches.

3. Provide sourcing/market rates for Annual Rate Contract with customer

4. Provide rates for EPC / Infrastructure related movements to Central team in Mumbai /Areas /Branches.

5. Co-ordinate and follow-up on daily basis with Operations Team for vehicle placement against rate contract

6. Review vehicle placement failure, analyses the cause and take corrective action

7. Support Central team and Area team in Vendor Development

8. Monitor and review deployment of own fleet and ensure utilization as per internal norms.

B) Supplementary Responsibilities:

1. Implementing online order process (GoEx system)

2. Follow-up and co-ordinate with accounts dept. for vendor payment

3. Provide approval for repair and maintenance of own fleet in consultation with Fleet In Charge.

4. Monitor and assist Head-Operations for Helpline Support (24 x 7)

5. Identify areas of cost savings and discuss/implement the same in consultation with Operations Team.

C. Knowledge/Experience:

1. Person should be strong in managing multiple territories and have at least 10 years of experience

2. Should have in depth knowledge of Traffic activities /Operations/Vehicle Placement

3. Must possess knowledge of various types of Vehicles such as Open body/Container body/Trailers/Hydraulic Axle etc.

4. Have strong communication skills in supervision of team and be a team player & self-motivated

5. Should be work focused and desire to grow within the organization
