Scope of the Role - To lead and deliver customer communication in a way consistent with our core objectives and brand values, which clearly defines our customer offer and supports the Daily Food Delight Shopping Trip. - To manage team to create,review &amp; adhere to brand guidelines for the business to make sure our communication builds a strong brand image with customers, which is in line with our core values of spreading the joy of food. - To lead the development of iconic Own Brand products across the pillar brands to deliver budgeted sales and growth targets. - To work with team and across category teams in Commercial to develop innovation in product and packaging which aligns with GNB Brand and Own Brand guidelines, is integrated into trade planning, and is appropriate for the customer. - To market the brands though all channels via comprehensive briefs. - To use customer insight to drive the strategic planning of the brands and work with category teams to develop strong brand plans. Job Profile - Deliver effective communication which wins the hearts and minds of our customers and is in-line with our brand communication plan and guidelines - Drive the communication through all channels i.e online &amp; offline to help generate sales. - Our customers recognize all our advertisements as simple and consistent in tone, across all medium. - Creates visual story in-store and online based on the monthly themes, though fixtures, leaflets, poster, banners and other elements - Drives the digital journey for our brand and help customer educate and engage them. - Drive the perception of our business through our advertisements, in-store visual merchandising which are high impact and drive trade - Successfully champion the right place, right tone principles so our agencies and suppliers fully understand our communication style and provide us with great work - Work with group corporate for both the PR &amp; Digital journey and ensure to leverage their skills. - Our gifting solutions are best in the market and drives the business growth - The brand communication guidelines build a strong brand image - The brand strategy represents a positive image of GNB in the community - Builds iconic own brands that make customers want to shop at GNB - Own Brand Plans contribute to the achievement of growth targets - Recommends actions for Own Brand products which make life better for customers and contribute to the achievement of growth targets - Support the business to deliver Own Brand growth - Improve the capability of team by coaching and training them to deliver the business KPIs Key Deliverables - Adhere to brand guidelines - Continuous improve the price perception - Meet the target on the sales &amp; customer walk-in the store/Website/Mobile App &amp; Home Delivery - Improve the Gifting solutions perception - Meet the target for Gifting through cards and hampers - Meet the brand &amp; communication budget - Measure the effectiveness of communication - Drive own brand sale and meet the targeted sales &amp; customer penetration - To ensure vendor are selected correctly and paid on time - Improve the brand perception in the community
